Buffy is torn between dating normal guys and staking vampy guys. Giles repeatingly argues for her Slayer duty, but Owen causes Buffy to slide off tables. So she goes on a date, Giles tries to pick up her slack, and gets himself in trouble. Xander & Willow alert Buffy, who kinda brings Owen along to the funeral home in an attempt to save Giles from Andrew the weird vampire dude. She saves the day but there are complications. Owen gets a taste of risk taking and likes it a bit too much so Buffy calls it off basically to save the dummy from himself.
